CHRISTMAS COOKERY CLASSES

Get festive this winter as you learn how to cook with some of Scotland's best ingredients and enjoy a meal with friends, family or colleagues. You and your friends will make a deliciously festive meal together, using local East Lothian produce as you learn some insider tricks of the trade.

Small groups of up to 5 guests are fun from our farmhouse kitchen, larger groups are run from our outstanding affiliate venues across East Lothian & Edinburgh. We will choose the venue best suited to you and your guests, depending on your requirements. 

This event typically runs for 4 hours and 30 minutes and can be booked either between 10am - 2.30pm or 5.30pm - 10pm. Alcohol can be organised to accompany your meal, or choose to include mulled wine making as part of your experience. All dietary requirements can easily be catered for.

Everything you need will be provided - aprons, equipment, recipes and ingredients. 

Please note all our classes can be booked online for groups that live far and wide, and still want to enjoy a festive meal together.

Main Courses

 

Salmon/beetroot Wellington, served with fondant potatoes, seasonal greens and a red wine gravy

Turkey curry feast, served with homemade naan bread, onion bhajis and rice

 

Ottolenghi styled vegetarian feast with Middle Eastern spiced vegetables, including cauliflower, aubergines and seasonal greens. 

 

Homemade pasta, tortellini and ravioli filled with festive ingredients.
