Kids Summer Cookery Week

This exciting course will cover the foundational skills of cookery that help build a confident, creative young chef. All recipes use fresh, local ingredients and will be offered to the children for lunch, as we discuss the different techniques learnt that day. 

What will the kids be making?

Monday - Dim Sum and Bao Buns

Tuesday - Enchiladas and all the sides

Wednesday - Scones and Brownies

Thursday - Lasagna from scratch with garlic pizza bread

Friday - Chicken Katsu Curry and Miso Soup

Please note that you can also book individual days too and that the Wednesday will be a technical baking afternoon from 1pm - 4pm.

Suitable for 9 - 15 years. 

Day timings

10.00am - Welcome and introductions

10.10am - Run through of recipes

10.20am - Get in the kitchen

1.00pm - Plating up and garnishing

1.15pm - Lunch is served

1.35pm - Chat about lessons covered

2pm - Pick up and goodbyes

Wednesday timings

1.00pm - Welcome

1.10pm - Run though of baking techniques

1.20pm - Get baking!

3.30pm - Boxing up and overview of lessons learned

4.00pm - Pick up and goodbyes

A week before the course commences we will send you a detailed email with directions and all the information you need. Everything is provided including aprons, ingredients and recipes. Please let us know if your child has any dietary requirements when booking.
