Class description

In this class the kids will learn how to cook an Italian themed starter and main course. Starter - Italian Puff Pastry Tartlet This is a great opportunity for the kids to learn how to roll out puff pastry and work with it, how to choose their own toppings, season their dish and pan fry vegetables. A great recipe which is quick to replicate at home for the whole family. Main Course - Lasagna or Vegetarian Lasagna A lasagna, which is a great family favourite also covers an array of integral culinary techniques including, dicing onions and vegetables, making a bechamel sauce, and making the all important beef or vegetable ragu to bring the dish together. Side Dishes Homemade Garlic bread, the kids will learn how to make garlic butter and spread it on a part baked baguette Side Salad They will learn how to dress and season a salad full of texture and colour. Our small class sizes allow each child to develop lots of new skills in a short period of time and to get to know the other students in the kitchen. We will send you a detailed email a week before the class to ensure you know exactly what to bring and expect.
